WHAT THEY SAY
NICK BROOMFIELD - UNITED KINGDOM AND USA
"Lisa constantly amazes me with her passion and determination to find the best. A certain madness is what it takes and Lisa definitely has that! She made an enormous contribution to WHITNEY. I can’t recommend Lisa enough " - Nick Broomfield, Director
MARC HOEFERLIN - PRODUCER, DIRECTOR, EDITOR
"Quite simply put - without Lisa working with us on our WHITNEY HOUSTON documentary, we would not have been able to make this film. Her relentless drive to find archive and get in touch with characters proved to be crucial. We knew we could count on Lisa with anything we needed, and she always delivered. Amazing person to work with, and we would not begin a film from now on without first getting in touch with her." - Marc Hoeferlin, Producer and Editor
FIRECRACKER - LONDON, UK
"Lisa is a true joy to work with. Not only is she incredibly fast, dedicated and enthusiastic, but she has a quick and exacting creative mind that instantly understands the visual needs of your production. Despite being on the other side of the world, I had more contact with Lisa then I do with many of my local archive contacts. I would like to work with her always!" - Helen Richardson, Producer - Branded Content
VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM, LONDON
"Lisa has been a total pleasure to work with. Not only did she understand the brief instantly, she was also able to work so quickly that I couldn’t believe there was a time difference between our locations! She was also brilliant at communicating with me and keeping me updated. It really helped me to continue to feel in control of the project" - Exhibition Manager
BRITISH PATHÉ - LONDON, UK
"I have worked with Lisa across a number of projects now and can personally vouch for her tenacity, dedication, breadth of knowledge and ability to secure the 'best possible' content at invariably a 'better than possible' price..." - John Rosling, Business Development Manager

LOLA FILMS - MADRID, SPAIN
"Lisa Savage's experience and savoir-faire has been crucial in the making of our television production, 'Far From Home'. Without her talent, global view and enthusiasm our television program shouldn't exist. Thank you Lisa!" - Andrés Vicente Gómez, Producer
RALF FILMS - SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
“Lisa is a brilliant archivist. She has a great eye for finding the right material as well as being a fantastic negotiator. She goes beyond her job description and is fantastic to work with, loyal and dedicated. Lisa brought all this and much more to our feature documentary - she was an integral part of the film making process and I look forward to working with her on many future projects” - Gracie Otto, Director
JENNIE BEDUSA - PRODUCER - NEW YORK
“Lisa is a delight to work with. She’s organized, resourceful and tireless in her pursuit of archive. Lisa’s endearing personality makes her impossible to resist and she brings years of beneficial relationships to each job, all while making new friends along the way.”
EDDIE MARTIN - DIRECTOR, PRODUCER, WRITER - AUSTRALIA
Lisa Savage thrives under pressure, tackling tight deadlines with precision and determination. She has a rare gift for unearthing hidden footage that transforms a story, finding the perfect moments that others miss. If you need an archive producer who delivers the unexpected and brings history to life, Lisa is the one you want on your team.
MATCHBOX PICTURES - SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
"Lisa is my first thought when I need a researcher. She's fast, efficient and "gets" the project, whatever it is. Lisa somehow manages to find exactly what we're looking for, even if we haven't been able to quite articulate it. Love her work!" - Helen Panckhurst, Producer
THE LAST IMPRESARIO - FEATURE DOCUMENTARY - SYDNEY FILM FESTIVAL SCREENING 2014
4:3 praised Lisa's contribution in their rave review: "Lisa Savage’s archival prowess is in full form. The documentary has some incredibly rare footage and photos. There are some incredibly rare photos of John Cleese, Yoko Ono and The Happenings. They add gravitas to a man who was avant-garde and anti-establishment in the 1960s, and a promoter of sheer talent above any considerations of content, race, ethnicity or gender. This purity of conviction is inspiring and revelatory and Savage’s skills are integral to this realisation" - by Virat Nehru · June 23, 2014
THE LAST IMPRESARIO – AN INTERVIEW WITH DIRECTOR, GRACIE OTTO
"Lisa’s impact has also been huge, because the archival footage in the documentary is amazing! How did she get around – it’s just so rare. The footage could’ve almost been lost, it’s amazing.
She’s like, she could really work for the C.I.A.
She really could! We got into London Film Festival without anything being cleared, and she literally was like, we’re gonna do this one at a time. And I’d go there at night time and sit with her. And she’d call people, and she just knew – because with everyone, we had to get a good deal. Because it was so expensive, all the footage. You know, tracking down people, call libraries, write these beautiful long emails. Lots of people responded really well because of Michael. There was one instance where we were like, we need to find these photos of Yoko Ono in this production that Michael produced, which weren’t anywhere! And then…one of the archival places found in a box all the originals and got so excited – the guys that worked there started scanning them and said, ‘Here they are! Here they are! We found them’. So, it was such a long process because – especially once got into London (Film Festival), we’d chosen what the archive was. It’s a bit random how much they cost". - by Virat Nehru · June 22, 2014
